Originally from Tallinn, Eduard was born into an upper-middle class family where he was the only child to survive past infancy. When his father passes away in the country's independence war, Eduard is left with a large heritance which allowed him to study music in university.

On the night of his graduation, he discovers the body of a young woman in an alley and is immediately deemed the sole suspect when the police spot him hunched over her. Fearing for his life, a friend of the family helps him assume a new identity and sent off to North America. Eduard currently lives under the radar in a town on the Ontario-Quebec border and has Eyvindur living with him after picking him up off the side of a rural road, a situation his guardians don't approve of.

Originally from Iceland, he and his older brother move to Glimi, Manitoba to live with one of his maternal relatives, after their father passes away from heart failure. Though he excelled at math and science, Eyvindur wanted to pursue the arts but felt heavily pressured by his relatives to follow in his brother's footsteps. His grades allowed him to take a scholarship to study physics in Toronto, however he struggled with university life and flunked out. Humilated; he packed his bags, left the city, and broke contact with his family. He never had a fixed address and instead took live-in domestic jobs to make money. Currently he lives with Eduard working as both his assistant and as a part-time library clerk in town.

Eyvindur's older half brother; Halvard spent the latter-half of his teen years doing odd jobs to help support himself and Eyvindur after their father had passed away. The two boys eventually move from Iceland to Glimi to live with one of Eyvindur's maternal relatives, which allowed Halvard to return to his studies. He went on to study medicine and now runs his own practice in town. Halvard is actively searching for Eyvindur after he discovers that he's disappeared from Toronto.

One of Eduard's guardians, Timo visits him every few weeks to deliver large sums of money so Eduard can continue living both comfortably and secluded. He works remotely with Heino, the family friend who helped Eduard get out of Tallinn, and the two of them help keep Eduard safe. Timo is originally from Finland but has lived in Sweden, Estonia, Canada, and US for work-related reasons. He is highly skilled with guns and has the eye of a sniper. He is anxious at the fact that Eduard has taken in Eyvindur to live with him however Timo keeps their living arrangements a secret.

An original character made for this story. Heino has been a family friend since Eduard was a small child. He works as a high-ranking government official and therefore was easily able to set him up a new identity with fake papers. He looks after Eduard's ill mother while working closely with Timo to help keep Eduard under the radar.

A fourth-year university student, Eduard is friendly, intelligent, but often keeps himself. He lives in an apartment near campus with his cousin Timo. Eduard is charming and polite which makes forming friendships come natural to him. He's the type to listen rather than speak, and is always analyzing everything around him. Eduard is musically talented, skilled at computers, and loves to bake.

During a battle with a plant-like creature, Eduard and Raivis awaken as guardians and he transforms into Sailor Estonia. His powers are based on the psyche and his staff is his main weapon. He can use it for creating illusions and shooting beams of energy from the glowing amber orb resting on top of the staff. He can also use his psychic powers to stop attacks dead in their tracks however using this power for too long can cause terrible headaches.

A high school senior, Raivis is shy, anxious, but also sarcastic, and strong-willed. He lost both of his parents within a few months of each other and with no family to care for him, Tolys and Feliks converted one of the spare bedrooms and took him in. Raivis is passionate about writing and loves to read romance novels and poetry. When he's not studying, he volunteers his time tutoring English to students in the younger grades.

During a battle with a plant-like creature, Raivis and Eduard awaken as guardians and he transforms into Sailor Latvia. His powers are based on wind. He can summon tornados and hurricanes on a whim and launch feathers that are sharp as knives. Raivis originally wanted no part in becoming a guardian. He feared he wasn't good enough and was terrified of losing his friends. However with the help of the rest of the team, he slowly grows more confident in his abilities to fight over the course of the story.

Tolys is the definition of a "mom friend". His friends are like family to him and he is fiercely loyal to them. Though he has a friendly face, he is not a pushover and will not hesitate to fight back. Tolys is an animal lover and being outdoors is where he feels his best. He's currently working towards becoming a vetrinarian and is doing his placement at one of the top animal hospitals in the city. It was here where he witnessed Feliks transform into Sailor Poland, and later became a guardian himself. As Sailor Lithuania, his powers are tied with nature. He can attack with the petals of rue flowers which burn the enemy on contact.

Feliks is clingy, outgoing, and cheerful. He loves to have fun and when he sets his mind on something, it's impossible to stop him. However few people will ever see this side of him as he is heavily fearful of strangers. He comes from a fairly rich background and due to his parents' occupations, he was always living alone in a mansion. Nowadays it feels more lively as he and Tolys live together, and with Raivis now being their newest addition to their home. Feliks was the second guardian to awaken and was taken under Hungary's wings before she disappeared overseas. As Sailor Poland, his powers are tied to fire. He can launch a long trail of fire from his hands towards the enemy. He can also create fire in the image of a phoenix for a more powerful attack.

Timo is Eduard's cousin and they currently live together in a small apartment near Eduard's university. Timo is friendly and chatty. He can make friends with anyone and his agreeable personality makes it difficult to dislike him. When there's danger, he's always quick to jump into action and will defend his friends at the drop of a hat.

As Sailor Finland, his powers are tied to ice. He's able to spawn handcrafted rifles that shoot powerful bullets that explode on contact, thus freezing the opponent. The guns disintegrate after one use. He has the eye of a sniper and his ice powers make him immune to the cold. It's unclear when Timo awakened as a guardian but it is stated it was before Eduard and Raivis did. Timo and Björn share a close friendship as they grew up together however some question whether the two are more than just friends.

Björn's intimidating aura leads people to quake in their shoes but in reality, he's soft at heart and prefers to listen rather than speak. However, he is a strong fighter in his own right and pushing him too far will bring out the lion from within him. His hobbies include baking, cleaning, sewing, woodworking, and painting. He currently attends the only design school in the city and rents out a spacious storage locker where he converted it to a studio. Timo and Björn share a close friendship as they grew up together however some question whether the two are more than just friends. He is also good friends with Eduard and quietly dotes over Raivis.

When Timo was in danger from an oncoming attack, Björn awakened as Sailor Sweden. His powers are fairly unique as his attacks are a mixture of water and ice. He attacks with the use of a sword where he can either launch icicle spears or powerful blasts of water that turns to ice on contact.

Loud and bold, Christian is a magnet for crowds and is always the life of the party. One can spot him a mile away just from the sound of his voice and wild blond hair. Family and friends are important to him and being alone is one of his biggest fears. Einar and Björn have been his friends since childhood. However Christian seems oblivious to Einar's snarky comments while he and Björn used to fight frequently as children. Christian also likes to act as a brother figure to Eiríkur though he doesn't seem to care. As Sailor Denmark, his powers are based around water. He attacks with a large battle axe and can create some deadly whirlpools, leaving the enemy immobile.

A mysterious man who has few friends and always seems to be in another world. Many find him strange as he's been seen talking to himself in public. In reality, Einar was born with the ability to see the supernatural and is closely linked with trolls and faeries. It is likely this power ties in with his status as a guardian. Eiríkur is his younger half-brother and loves him dearly. As Sailor Norway, his powers are unique as he is the only guardian without a set elemental power. Instead he can use magic to manipulate his powers and use elements based on his surroundings (ex. can use water attacks if by water).

A high school senior, he attends the same school as Raivis though they have very few classes together. After Eiríkur awakens, the two become closer friends as they find common interests like writing stories and playing musical instruments. Einar is his half-brother who frustrates him with his overbearing personality.

Despite the name, as Sailor Iceland, he gets his powers from volcanos. He can create lava from the palms of his hands and hurl them at his opponents. As a defense mechanism, he can create smokescreens from volcanic ash to slow the enemy down. He can also create a "neutrality barrier" to protect himself and his friends from oncoming attacks.

As Sailor Hungary, her powers are based off of electricity. She can easily make thunderbolts crash down on opponents from the skies. She was the first out of the team to awaken as a guardian but joined the team last as her duties took her overseas where no one had heard from her in several months.

Eduard's counterparts from two different universes. The two come to Eduard's universe seeking the team's help in sealing off the various portals that are causing timelines to mesh together. Erik is the polar opposite of Eduard; he doesn't think before he acts or speaks, prefers to work alone than in a team, and is quick to upset. Linda and Eduard are more similar however she appears much more wiser than him, as if she's been alive for a lot longer than the rest of the team.

He runs his own blog that catalogues abandoned and haunted spots. Due to their abilities to see the supernatural, Estonia and Norway work on this project together however Estonia is the sole maintainer of the website as Norway isn't savy enough to assist. After receiving an anonymous tip about a haunted spot on the island of Hiiumaa, he invites Norway and Belarus to stay with him at his vacation home on the island and check things out.

Estonia's partner in the blog project. Because his tech abilities are not as strong as Estonia's, Norway tries to assist him by using his strong photography skills to grab high quality shots of the places they visit together. Norway is never anxious about visiting these spots. If anything were to happen to him, he knows that Troll will protect him from harm.

She occassionly joins the two men on their journeys, as one of her hobbies is black and white photography. She can somewhat see ghosts and is not easily frightened by her surroundings.

Classified as Swedish territory, Finland lives with Denmark, Sweden, and Norway as part of the Kalmar Union. He often works within the palace but generally has a lot of freedoms, as he has access to Denmark's personal library. On the nights he can't sleep, the dancing lights in the gardens help him relax.

Another member of the Kalmar Union, however Finland hardly knows anything about him. He is a mysterious man who can communicate with the supernatural and seems to know more about Finland than Finland knows of him.

A second-year history student; enrolled at the city's only bilingual university.

A recent immigrant to the country. Enrolled in a band with his younger step-sister and two friends to bring in some extra money.

A Masters student at a rival university. Works part-time at one of the local bars Matt tends to frequent at.
