Wellesley comes from a family who owns the local Safari Zone, located just outside of Auckland. He spent much of his life there, studying and playing with the Pokemon that resided there. Wellesley didn’t have much of an interest in battling till much later in life. He has primarily stayed close to home, partaking in tournaments in his home country, Australia, and some parts of Asia. However, he is slowly branching out to tournaments within the Commonwealth. When he’s not training, he and his team act as security for the Safari Zone. Wellesley hopes to take over the family business. Most of his team comprises of Pokemon caught there.
