Chun-Yan has been on the battle scene for what feels like ages for many of her fans and has appeared in countless ads and photo-shoots all over China. Despite that however much of her life is very private. No one knows how old she really is or where she even came from. She has been offered opportunities to join the ranks of Gym Leaders and the Elite Four, even outside her own country, but has denied them each time to continue living her on her own terms. She very seldom leaves Asia for competitions and therefore is more of a continental name rather than a global one. Despite this, she is considered to be one of the best in China.
