Matthew has been battling and participating in tournaments since he was just 10 years old. His beginnings were tough and frequently lost battles. But today he’s grown to be a powerful name, not just at home but globally as well. Matthew is among the many who have travel across the country to compete in every league and won. In national standings, he sits among the Top 5 but globally sits in the Top 30. Provincially, he takes the top spot.

Matthew has a big heart and is always willing to help others with their training and give advice. He wants to be better known on the global stage but he’s frequently overshadowed by his long-time friend and rival. Due to their similar appearances, they do get mistaken for one another from time to time. Matthew is specialized in Ice-types but loves all types equally. He hopes to be part of the Elite Four or run his own gym where he can let his Ice-types shine and show off their skills.
