Marko is a popular and well-respected trainer in Bulgaria but is not well-known outside his country's borders. His beginnings as a trainer were difficult; he lost many battles and even captured some Pokemon by accident (like his Jumpluff when it was a Hoppip). It took him several years before his luck started changing and the long hours of training were paying off. Marko ranks among the best in Bulgaria but has yet to break in global standings.

Marko spends a lot of time with new and budding trainers across the country helping them craft their skills and styles. He's passionate about Pokemon and wants kids to get excited as he was when he first started out. He took a year off for this project but he is now ready to go back to competitive battling and get his name out on the world stage. His Farfetch'd is his most well-known team member and is very popular on social media for its dance moves, but his Sceptile is his ace and was his starter as a Treecko.
