Marko is a popular and well-respected trainer in Bulgaria but is not well-known outside his country’s borders. His beginnings as a trainer were difficult; he lost many battles and even captured some Pokemon by accident (ex. his Jumpluff when it was a Hoppip). It took him several years before his luck started changing and the long hours of training were paying off. Marko ranks among the best in Bulgaria (Top 10) but has yet to break in global standings.

Marko spends a lot of time with new and budding trainers across the country helping them craft their skills and styles, as well as get kids excited about battling and Pokemon in general. He took a year off doing this but he is now ready to go back to professional battling and put his name on the world stage.
