Ludwig is a top-notch trainer with many titles and trophies that bare his name. He takes his training very seriously and does what he has to do in order to win. Ludwig was discovered to be a natural at the sport and both he and his brother were trained by their idols before hitting the global scene. He is strong when it comes to both attack and defence and makes sure his team have a variety of different moves so they can adapt to their weaknesses. This overall makes him a tough challenger to take down.

In addition to strong battle skills, Ludwig is level-headed and tends to think things carefully and well in advance. These attributes and skills have helped him claim his spot in the stands, Top 5 in Germany and Top 20 globally. Ludwig is still undecided as to what his long-terms goals are for the future. Studying Pokemon as a profession is of high interest to him but for now he will keep on competing on the global stage.
