Leon is still very new to competitive battling. Although he's been battling since he was a kid, he didn't take part in his first tournament until he was 16 years old. Leon is currently an apprentice of Yao's and lives at the school to train and study. He has a lot of goals in mind but he's very selective of when he wants to work, much to Yao's frustration. His top goal is specializing in Fighting-types and running his own gym.

Leon's first Pokemon was his Chikorita (now a Meganium), however his aces are the Hitmon trio.
