Koko works as a teacher and travels around the country giving lessons in schools on a variety of subjects. He hasn't had much time for battling these days, and hasn't travelled much outside of Africa to participate in tournaments. This is mainly because of tough competition overseas, however his students are encouraging him to try again.

Koko's first Pokemon and ace is his Zebstrika.
