A happy-go-lucky trainer, Kiet is a well-known and respected in his country but is barely known globally. When he's not training, he works in a Pokemon market (Pokemart) with his parents. The shop has been in the business for three generations and caters to both locals and tourists alike. He only began travelling to tournaments globally when he turned 20 years old and has been struggling against stiffer competition. However, he doesn't let it get him down and he hopes his training will one day pay off.

Kiet's first Pokemon was his Phanpy and is now his ace as a Donphan.
