Henrique has been on the battle scene for about as long as Yao has but is largely retired from competing in tournaments (he still makes rare appearances at a few on Yao’s advice). Nowadays he works alongside him at the school he founded and help students become the next generation of top trainers. In the days of his travels, Henrique was never a major force on the global stage but was back home in Macau when he worked in one of the most prodigious battle facilities it had to offer.

Unlike Hong Kong which has its own official standings, Macau does not have this and is instead grouped under Chinese rankings which put him within the Top 30 before he retired. An unofficial ranking system maintained by a major Macanese sports group put him within the Top 5. He still maintains this ranking despite being retired from competitive battling.
