Though he got into battling much later than his peers, Einar has easily proven himself to be a strong opponent since he began at age 14. He trained under the best Psychic and Fairy-type trainers in Norway to help grow and achieve his goals. His battle style focuses on using special moves to lower his opponent's stats and booster his own so they can deliver the final blow much quicker. Espeon serves as his ace; who, like many trainers, started as an Eevee and as his first Pokemon.

Einar is a doting older brother who frequently tries to help Eiríkur with his training, regardless if he wants it or not. He knows his brother is capable of great things and encouraged Eiríkur to join him on his global journey. He is extremely proud in everything that Eiríkur has accomplished. He's well-aware of Eiríkur's interest in research and thinks he may join him in that profession. However, the thought of running his own gym or becoming an Elite Four member sounds appealing to him as well.
