Eduard was born and raised in Tallinn to two computer engineers, one of which is a Psychic-type enthusiast herself. Although he's participating in tournaments since he was 10 years old, it was only after he completed his Gymnasium studies that he began to take it more seriously when Timo encouraged him to to start venturing out of the Est-Fin-Swe tournament bubble. Eduard moved up the ranks quickly which put his small country on the map. His newfound status allowed him to be offered a position at the Estonian Elite Four but he turned it down to continue taking part in tournaments. The countless hours of training he puts in, in addition to the time he takes to research his opponents before each match, make him a difficult trainer to beat. Though he's open to training all types of Pokemon, Psychic and Ghost-type Pokemon remain his favourite to use. He's currently on the hunt for the prized Pokemon, Porygon. He has a habit of taking in stray Pokemon and keeping them as pets.

His first Pokemon was a Beldum (now a Metagross) and was gifted to him by his father on his 8th birthday. His mother was worried that having a Beldum would be too difficult for him to raise on his own, but the two immediately formed a tight bond that has lasted to the present day. Metagross serves his main Pokemon and is feared by many. In reality though, Metagross is a gentle and sensitive soul who enjoys being social with others. It has a sweet tooth and enjoys long naps in the shade outdoors.
