Basch is a big-name trainer in his home country of Switzerland, and in Europe as a whole. He’s been on the battle scene since trainers like Roderich, Gilbert, and Erzsébet were starting out as well. His techniques and training are very basic and old-school. He focuses heavily on defence. He doesn’t battle as much as his peers do these days but he’s fairly rich from his matches because of his heavy use of the Amulet Coin, a technique also used by a popular Dutch trainer.
