Aravind has been battling competitively for a long time, but with the help of some new coaches, it's only in the last few years he's finally being noticed on the global stage. When not competing in tournaments, he works as a travelling performer. He also offers advice on teaching young children how to battle and care for Pokemon. Despite his love for showing off his Pokemon's talents and skills, he has never participated in contests and prefers battling instead. He's well-known for launching sneak attacks and taking calculated risks (such as letting his team take heavy damage to tire out his opponent).

Aravind is famously known for using Copperajah and Medicham as his aces. The former served as his first Pokemon as a Cufant and was given to him by his grandfather.
