Ahmed was once a household name in Egypt and in other Arabic-speaking nations. His mother and grandmother were also big names in the region and are still highly respected. Ahmed has travelled around the world participating in tournaments since he was a kid but doesn't converse much with other trainers. Currently, he's taken a hiatus from travelling and now makes a living running a small battle station and the souvenir shop attached to it.

Ahmed's ace is his Cofagrigus, while his first Pokemon was his Baltoy (now a Claydol).
